Impact Investment

Creating Value, Spreading Impact

AMF believes that investment is not merely about financial returns, but about generating long-term benefits for both the environment and society. Through innovative and collaborative approaches, AMF develops various initiatives that strengthen economic resilience, promote sustainable practices, and build an inclusive ecosystem.

From supporting local coffee farmers through the Anwar Muhammad Collegregator (AMC) to developing Sharia-based financial schemes through WISE (Wakaf, Infaq, Sedekah, Equity), AMF delivers tangible impact investment models that drive sustainable development.

Highlight Project

Anwar Muhammad Collagregator

AMC (Anwar Muhammad Collagregator) is a business entity established by AMF to empower and facilitate farmers in Solok, West Sumatra, and Lahat, South Sumatra. This empowerment initiative aims to improve both the quality of coffee production and the livelihoods of farmers in these regions.

WISE

WISE (Wakaf, Infaq, Sedekah, Equity) is a working unit under AMF, primarily focused on conducting research and driving innovation in the areas of Wakaf, Infaq, Sedekah, and the development of alternative financing schemes. WISE’s work goes beyond conceptual and academic aspects, extending to the implementation of practical programmes that generate tangible socio-economic impact.

KHDTK HP GUNUNG GEULIS

The Gunung Geulis Educational Forest (KHDTK HP Gunung Geulis ITB) is a protected area that plays a vital role in maintaining water systems, preventing floods, controlling erosion, and supporting soil fertility. Through a collaboration between AMF and SITH ITB, the area serves as a living laboratory for social-economic development, biodiversity conservation, and ecosystem services enhancement.

MASJID TUO

A programme initiated by AMF in collaboration with WISE in Surau, Nagari Kacang, represents an impact investment that embodies the Minangkabau philosophy adat basandi syarak, syarak basandi Kitabullah, a harmony between social, cultural, educational, and spiritual aspects. Through mentoring, community empowerment initiatives (such as the waste-for-charity programme, where waste is sorted and donated to support Surau cleanliness), as well as religious and educational activities, this programme not only sustains worship practices but also strengthens the Surau’s role as a centre of learning and community togetherness.

TPS 3R MANGGIS

AMF is committed to supporting the national waste management priority programme by assisting a community-led movement in Manggis, Ciganjur. This self-initiated effort has been incubated into a social enterprise under the TPS 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) scheme, which later gained support from funding partners to ensure its sustainability and enhance its impact on both the community and the environment.
